GNM — Gateway to Nursing

The General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) program is a 3.5-year diploma course that serves as the foundational pathway into clinical nursing. It is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and recognized across India for employment in government and private hospitals.

The program includes 3 years of academic study followed by 6 months of compulsory internship. Students gain hands-on clinical experience at our attached Sushrutha Hospital and affiliated healthcare facilities.

Eligibility

Who Can Apply?

Criterion	Requirement
Educational Qualification	10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a recognized Board
Minimum Marks	40% aggregate in PCB subjects
Minimum Age	17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission
Maximum Age	35 years
English Requirement	Must have studied English as a subject in 10+2
Medical Fitness	Medically fit as per INC guidelines
